1MA87: Testing HSDPA UE RX Diversity
- Abstract
- For Enhanced Performance Requirements Type 1/2/3 of standard TS 34.121, user equipment that provides RX diversity is tested under fading conditions. This Application Note illustrates how easy it is to perform the Type 1/2/3 RX diversity tests using the Universal Radio Communication Tester R&S®CMU200 in combination with the Vector Signal Generator R&S®SMU200A. For the great number of measurements a new generic test item was implemented for the free-of-charge CMUgo software. The new test item and a test sequence example with predefined parameters are presented in this Application Note to run the tests in accordance with the standard.
